Our themes in Brida this week:

Welcome back

Hello all.
The Brida Community idea is now six months old. Like all children, it is still learning to walk. But, with each step, it is moving in the right direction. Here, you can read what we are currently discussing in the community.

For those, outside Brida, Brida offers a different approach to practising and improving English. Flexible, gradually expanding into different countries, Brida offers members to practise their English by simulating reality.

What happened to the Brida Journal? It will continue, but it is slowly being re-integrated with the Brida Community. The journal was at the heart of the Brida project. The community has now, moved to the heart of the Brida Project.

Like I said, learning to walk takes time, but to those who have been here since February, a big “Thank You”. It would not have been possible without you.

Best regards
Frank

Paying tributes to a public person

It doesn't matter if you are a monarchist or not. However, it would be impossible not to have an opinion on some public figures. But, how do you express it? Martin and Manfred in Germany and Ismar and Lisa in Brazil have shared their thoughts. And we will continue that discussion this week.

Hidden Messages

Hidden Message
It was Martin, in Kassel, Germany, who started this idea. It is a wonderful start to the new season. Others have followed his lead. The task is to describe something without actually saying too much. Here is an example taken from Maxime's contribution:

Hello everyone, I drove a long way for a long time. The night, the rain, the fog and the evil animals were there to frighten me. I had to cross a lot of departments and metal monsters.
Do you want to know how I passed the French government spies?
There are several tasks here: to ask questions, motivate the person to tell more and of course, to start your own "hidden message".

The Ambassador Project.

Slide1
Some of the first presentations about "Being an Ambassador of your Region" are slowly being completed. Here, some of you describe to us, what you would show us if you visit each other's regions.
Our first ambassador is Maxime, who tells us where we can eat some excellent Crêpes:
