Hello

Dear reader,

I hope you are well.

We welcome Céline and her husband Alexandre to our community. They live in France, and I am sure you will get to know them over the next few months.

When Igor and I discussed his training programme, he told me that feedback is very important. I agree. This week I received some feedback. But, unfortunately, it was addressed to the wrong person.

Martin wrote to me saying that he had had visitors from Sweden come to his company last week. The experience had been difficult, but eventually, it was also fun. Igor wrote to me that he had an update about an opportunity he had been seeking (you can listen to it in the Seeking Opportunity Podcasts). The news is extremely positive. Finally, Ismar commented on how the Tuesday Get Together helps him evaluate his English.

Let me provoke you here. Everybody is missing the point. The positive news goes to the community. Martin communicates with everybody in the community. By thinking, writing and speaking about the topics to which everybody contributes, he is learning more effectively. The people (Julia, Sebastian and Levent) in the "Tuesday Get Together" team contribute to Igor's success and Ismar's evaluation. And by occasionally contributing to the general conversation, they have contributed to Martin's support. Martin, through his "old versus new" suggestion, is helping everybody use the English language in all its variations.

In the Thursday Morning Get Together, Nathalie stays connected with people here in the Alsace and describes her new life in Seoul. The reactions, the questions, and the discussions help Monique and Bernard, Clarisse here in France and Babette in Germany, not just in using the language, but also sharing, learning and appreciating different real-life experiences.

Next week, Maxime will give advice and explain 3D printers, as requested by Julia, Rosii, Igor and Wenya. Maxime shares his knowledge with people who are older than he.

And Ismar answered some of my questions about "Brazil is not for Amateurs." My conversations with Lisa, Rosii, Igor and Ismar have made me understand their country more, encouraging them to share their experiences with other Brida Community members with pride.

So, thank you and well done to everybody in the community. It is YOU who are helping each other fulfill your individual goals by sharing common topics.

Have a great week ahead.

Best regards

Frank

Winter Wonderland

winter
Spring has sprung for Ismar in Campo Grande in Southwestern Brazil. This leaves Ismar wondering what European autumns and winters are like. What do we do? For those in Germany, how would you describe Neuer Wein & Zwiebelkuchen, The Christmas Markets and mulled wine? Plus, whatever else we do here. Let’s send a little winter magic across the Atlantic.

Where to go and what to do.
