Frank

Frank was born in Germany in 1961 and spent parts of his childhood in Japan and Australia. He later lived and worked in Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and is now based in France.

He has spent over 30 years working in international organisations where English is used daily — not as a subject, but as a working reality. His experience spans manufacturing, engineering, IT, automotive, energy, retail, and SMEs.

Frank’s role has never been to teach language or deliver training. Instead, he has focused on creating the conditions in which people can speak, think, and interact in English without being reduced to learners or performers.

At Brida Tables, Frank holds the space: time, tone, and boundaries — so conversation can happen naturally and without performance.

Janita

Janita was born in South Africa in 1990 and has spent her life in this diverse and multicultural country. Her travels have taken her across Southern Africa, but she has always returned home.

She has worked across administration, retail, customer service, design, and team leadership. A consistent thread runs through her work: listening, supporting, and helping people feel capable and understood.

Her move into online English tutoring was never about rules or correction, but about creating space for people to speak with confidence. For Janita, English is a tool for connection — not a performance.

Together with Frank, she hosts Brida Tables as a calm, safe conversational space where adults can speak English as they are — without correction, pressure, or judgement.
