Curitiba is the capital of the Brazilian state of Parana, in South Region, with 2 million inhabitants, it is considered to be the cleanest and eighth biggest Brazilian city. Its altitude of 932 meters provides good weather.

The meaning of Curitiba is “land of the pine tree”, people love to eat pine tree fruits. 

There are many museums, such as Oscar Niemeyer, Egyptian, and Rosicrucian, Contemporary Art of Parana, Paranaense, Art of the Federal University of Parana, and Natural History.

Our theatres present several attractions, including the Festival de Teatro de Curitiba that occurs between the end of March and the beginning of April every year.

The Oi Panoramic Tower, 109 meters high, gives you a 360-degree overview of the city.

At Largo da Ordem Fair, on Sunday mornings, you can see and buy handicrafts, have a snack, sugar cane juice, second-hand books, and vinyl records.

Its restaurants offer regional, national and international cuisines, and certain bakeries offer “café colonial” for an afternoon snack.

You can appreciate a craft beer and can join a city tour for a craft beer production visit.

There are three soccer professional teams: Parana, Coritiba, and Atletico Paranaense, the last one has the unique retractable roof stadium in Brazil, which was inaugurated for the 2014 World Cup.

You can visit 16 forests and 18 parks, for instance, Barigui, Sao Lourenço, Bacacheri, Tingui, Tanguá, and Botanical Garden.
