I made chocolate chip muffins

By Stefan, (11 years old), Wissembourg, France

Hello everybody,
today I baked chocolate chip muffins with Frank. I preheated the oven to 200°C. Then I mixed 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a large bowl. After that, I beat an egg and added 1 cup milk and 1/4 vegetable oil in another bowl. Then I combined the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients. It is important that the mixture is lumpy.
Then I put 1/2 cup of chocolate chips into the batter. Finally, I spooned the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
I put the mixture in the oven for 15–20 minutes.
It was fun.

Best regards Stefan
